New Art–Loki

I’m starting a series of illustrations of my favorite characters from mythology. Loki comes from Norse mythology. What I find interesting about him is that the role he plays in the Norse myths is often that of the villain, yet he always seems to tag along without any protest from the other gods. I like Norse mythology because it doesn’t seem to draw a distinct line between good an evil. I guess when you live far up in the frozen North, you learn to accept that darkness is something that must be accepted and respected.
